bet365 Guide: How to Place Bets on bet365

(1) Log into bet365.

If you have previously completed your account registration, you can access bet365 by clicking here.

After entering your Username and Password, click “GO” to log in.

(2) Select the game/match that you would like to bet on.

In this example, we will show you how to place a bet on an UEFA Europa League soccer game. First, click on “Soccer” from the menu on the left-hand side.

Next, look for and click on “UEFA Europa League”.

(3) Select your bet type.

One of the easiest to understand bet types is “Full Time Result”. A full time result bet means you pick which team you think will either win or tie. In our example below, you have three choices by either picking 1) Birmingham to win, 2) Braga to win or 3) Birmingham to tie Braga. In this example, we will pick Birmingham to win, therefore we will click on the odds 1.44.

(4) Enter your bet amount.

After clicking the odds that you would like to place a bet on, your bet selection will show under “Bet Slip” in the upper right-hand side of the page.

“Stake” refers to the amount of money that you would like to bet. Once you enter an amount, the amount of profit that you would win on the bet is shown automatically in the “To Win” column. “To Win” refers to the amount of money that you would like to win on a bet. Once you enter an amount, the amount that you would need to place on the bet is shown automatically in the “Stake” column.

Keep in mind that the amount shown in “To Win” is only your profit if the bet you placed is a winning one. If you do win your bet, the profit in the “To Win” column plus the amount in your “Stake” column combined will be returned to you.

Once you have entered either your “Stake” or “To Win” amount, next click the yellow “Place Bet” button to finalize your bet.

Other bet types

If you refer to the screen shot below, you will see the number “66” to the right of the game’s odds. If you click on this number, other bet types will be shown to you.

In this case, the number “66” means that there are 66 other types of bets available for this particular game.

Bet types

Double Chance
A “Double Chance” bet means that you can place one bet on two different outcomes such as 1) the home team wins or ties, 2) the away team wins or ties or 3) No tie score, which means either the home team wins or away team wins.

Correct Score
A “Correct Score” bet means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the final score of the game.

Half Time/Full Time
A “Half Time/Full Time” bet means that you can place a bet on what you think will be the correct outcome of the first half and also the final score. Using the Braga - Birmingham example, if the score at half time is 0-1 and the final score is 2-1, you would have needed to bet on “Braga - Birmingham” in order to have won.

Total Goals
A “Total Goals” bet, which is always set at "Over 2.5" and "Under 2.5", means that you place a bet on the total number of goals that you think will be scored in a game. “Over 2.5” means that 3 goals or more would be a winning bet while “Under 2.5” means that 2 goals or less would be a winning bet.

Goal Line
A “Goal Line” bet, which tends to be set from "Over 2" and "Under 2" and upwards, is exactly like a Total Goals bet in that you place a bet on the total number of goals that you think will be scored in a game. If the bet is set at “Over 2.5” and "Under 2.5", this bet would be exactly the same as a Total Goals bet, however keep in mind that the odds tend to be slightly different. If the bet is set at "Over 2.5, 3" and "Under 2.5, 3", this means that half of your stake would be placed on 2.5 and the other half on 3 to minimize your risk.

Draw No Bet
A “Draw No Bet” bet means that you place a bet on which team you think will win. If there is a draw then your stake will be returned to you and no loss will be incurred.
